Our number one priority is to ensure the SAFETY and QUALITY of every single packaging product we manufacture.
CANFAB PACKAGING and all its employees are committed to manufacture and deliver products that meet or exceed our customers’ requirements and expectations in a productive and safe working environment.
Through the coordination of management support, documentation, education and training, by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and by adhering to our HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point the worldwide accepted systematic preventive approach to food safety that addresses physical, chemical, and biological hazards) Program, CANFAB PACKAGING is committed to satisfying our customers’ expectations for food safety. At CANFAB PACKAGING we ensure that our employees, suppliers and contractors understand and carry out their roles and responsibilities in order to deliver a wholesome and safe final product.
As a manufacturer of composite cans for the food industry, we at CANFAB PACKAGING have implemented a HACCP based Product Safety System based on the American Institute of Baking (AIB) Standards for the Inspection of Food Contact Packaging Manufacturing Facilities. We’re being audited by the AIB on a regular basis and, in October 2011, have been awarded Recognition of Accomplishment for both our Oshawa and Montreal facilities.
As a supplier of safe high quality products to the US market we have enrolled in the Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Program, which is a voluntary supply chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and focused on improving the security of CANFAB PACKAGING’S supply chain with respect to terrorism.
